DDS Modular System for Data Management System Support
The DDS database is composed of several Database Modules. These Database Modules (GRL files) are ASCII files which can be easily managed together with the corresponding C code files (*.h and *.c). Consequently, they should also be managed together within a configuration management system (CMS).
This concept has the following benefits:
Open System - DDS is not linked to one special CMS, but open for any system.
Modular System - The C-Code can be managed together with the corresponding DDS database modules.
